Happy New Year!

time 10:05 pm feeling HOT wearing pants music anything on my new Shuffle! reading Camel Club? Just finished Tenth Circle again...ha ready for bed? next more HGTV, I imagine, it's Jeff's new fave

Soooooo it seems like I ought to have something monumental about which to update seeing as it is the first day of the New Year or whatever, but alas I do not. I just felt I owed an update since I've been pretty MIA for awhile. Who knows—what if 2007 is the YEAR that lxforever expires??? (note: lxforever the website, not lxforever the 'person'.) Vamos a ver.

Along those lines, I am working on fixing something up pretty cool but I haven't decided what I'm going to do about it. Something for this site, I mean. It's not a huge deal but I also don't want to put it out there until I feel okay with it, so we'll see. Maybe it will be on a need-to-know basis. Perhaps!

As I said (I think?) Christmas, the baptism, Madison, my Grandpa's 85th, all were pretty great. Anna is hilarious. She is the most curious little baby I have ever met (not that I've met too many, except when I was one, which I don't remember). She gets cuter every time I see her and Stephie and Mike are naturals. The baptism was awesome and it was really cool that they did it at SMG's.

We had my Grandpa's 85th birthday on Christmas eve. Both were pretty great. My family is pretty neat, as I'm sure you've gathered that I think, and it was a grand celebration as always. My cousins just get more and more cool, even if we need to have a Crocodile Morey (??????) rematch!! Pretty fun. Anna was totally bewildered I am sure but to us, she seemed fine (who knows how she was after the craziness, ha ha). She's like a tiny baby celebrity, what can I say.

I saw a bunch of '99 people in Madison which was nice but no one really from my own class. Some people were gone, some people were busy, and I wasn't even there that long anyway. My family got some QT in which was nice and we had a good time testing out the Middleton Tutto and seeing a bad movie. J and I also stopped by Badger and saw Lisa work out (wow!) and chatted with Tom. All in all many fun times were had and it was excellent to be back in Madison for a little bit. It was really a great break!

NYE was super low key. We attempted to have people over the night before to play GUITAR HERO but no one could really make it, boo. We spent NYE just eating sushi and playing Guitar Hero and drinking Heineken. Needless to say it was pretty great. Jeff's buddy Joe ended up coming over so that was cool. The best part of course was the snow—we finally got some! At a terrible time, driving-wise, but whatever...snow!! I live HERE and not in, say, Seattle, hello! Why the rain. It is winter.

On that note...ugh, winter. Nothing does me in like that. And no cool Europe trip this year to stave off the pain, aaaah aaaah. Seriously one of the best parts of 2006 was without a doubt sledding down the Swiss Alps with Jenny in January. God if I could only do that whole trip over again...that was so awesome.

New Year's resolutions? Well I have to make good yet on one of my 06 ones which was to give blood. Aah. But for this year?

  1. get more sleep.
  2. FOCUS

The first basically excludes all other possible resolutions, as it involves me taking time AWAY from 'accomplishing' random BS, and the second is to stop my addiction to multitasking, however that will probably never happen. Two is bad luck but two is it. It's an odd year at least. Hurrah hurrah. I am seriously burning up right now so I have to go see what the hell is up with that. HAPPY 2007 TO FAMILY FRIENDS AND ANY RANDOM READERS!!!
