Here We Go
time 11:34 pm, too late already feeling dry (like, my face) ready for my paper to be done next bedtime, hopefully

"I just need to go read my book and stop looking at bad gymnastics photography."

That's what I just said to Alyssa. BAH, yes I do need to go to bed; I may not have class til 1145 tomorrow but I DO need to get up early and work on this paper. This damn Capstone. It's getting me down man!

BUT, as usual, things are pretty dang good. Some sick part of me was/is excited for classes to begin, just to see friends and reunite and have *da da da!* printmaking with my cousin Michael as well as Sarah!, and just have the order and calmness of the world in place and everything. But a little bit of me is, gah, stupid classes with 32 people that SHOULD be only 18, in the same room, with the scariness of the REAL WORLD weighing upon me... ENOUGH we're not going through this right now. It's going to be OKAY. If I finish this paper and get study abroad under control, I could calm down a little bit.

It's going to be fun, photography and printmaking and then portfolio and seminar as my forays back into the DHA rumor mill/funhouse that it always is. YEAH BABY. I just better appreciate this last semester. I am realizing more and more how NOT READY I am to graduate so this being the last semester is even more terrifying. At least I'll get to see Mr. Scissors Jasper Man. And have 3/4 classes with Sarah. AND dream about the cool apartment Kristin and I want so badly!! But I can't say more or I'll jinx it :).

30 minutes with Misty's Swedish fiancee and he already figured out some key and rather embarassing things about me. OH WELL it's actually quite funny. I love my friends. Everyone of the True Ten is back for this semester so it's definitely a good thing. And Alyssa is busy planning her wedding and it is so exciting! She even got a dress today. It is lovely.

Speaking of... we went to San Francisco to see Stephie and it was a blast! She is always such a great sister/entertainer and always finds fun things to do and funny things to say (hah). We went biking across the Golden Gate bridge, which was SO COOL in the fog, and she made us a lot of good food and took us cool places (obviously, what else would you expect? ;) ). It was a great time. Thank you Stephanie.

OK really, bedtime. We are NOT starting off this semester like we ended the last one, on less than 6 hours of sleep/night. Damn. That was fun. Tonight, The Secret Lives of Bees. Tomorrow, the world! "They call me the seeker..." one last time...
