Okay, so I know I owe an update in several ways, and ESPECIALLY a Paris/Swizterland update (YAY!!!), but the BEST and MOST IMPORTANT news is first:
STEPHIE AND MIKE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!
YESSSSS!!! In case you didn't know the story, Jenny and I have been waiting OUR WHOLE WHOLE LIVES (OK, just since we were 10 or so but still) to be aunts. CLEARLY we had NO idea what being in your 20s was like (i.e., we WOULD NOT want babies now!! OMG, hahaha). BUT when we were little, we figured, "o.k., so she's done high school, college, and now she'll get married and have a baby and WE'LL BE AUNTS!" Silly I know.
ANYWAY we all know the story and she met Mike some years ago and they fell in love and had a beautiful wedding and are living happily ever after.
BUT. NOW they are going to have a baby. YAAAAAAAAAAY! I ASSume it is okay that I put this up here, Stephie, since you told the fam and all, but let me know if not. It's pretty personal, after all.
But pretty damn exciting!!! So Waning had a baby (she is my Internet friend—let me remind you that I have real life friends too, don't worry, hahahahaha [although I could tell last week Jenny was actually a bit worried]), which was sweet even though I don't really 'know' her. Then Jackie is pregnant, which I was really excited about because at least I DO know Jackie ITRW. And now, my very own SISTER is!!! Too exciting!!!
(I have huge baby lust in case you didn't know. Heh.)
Anyway so congratulations Stephie + Mike! Here's to July 20th!!!
ETA: My bosses just came back from an 'errand' (i.e., buying Rob's zombie-Stephen-King book) and in their possession were three boxed sets of Food Network shows as well as THE ENTIRE $250 COLLECTION of Sex and The City. OMG. They claim they bought it for 'inspiration' on our projects. Riiight... anyway I'm borrowing those SATC DVDs soon though. Right on.
