To-Do

time 2:35 pm feeling hungry for candy wearing giant wild sweatshirt (ha!) music MN-NW basketball game reading Diana's short stories book ready for candy next work out?

I forgot another good thing about 2006. Charmed Thirds comes out. AND, get this, Megan McCafferty is writing a FOURTH Jessica Darling book—about nothing other than her first year out of college. How great is that?!

So WTF. The Gophers SUCK. SUCKITY SUCK SUCK. They're playing Northwestern right now (NORTHWESTERN for gods' sakes!) and being slambasted. WTF is that about. Oh well, guess I'll stick to cheering on the Badgers as well ('cause Gophs sucking it up in the barn isn't enough, and the Badgers are ranked like #10 or something...woo!).

In other news, yesterday I had lunch with Diana and MJ. It was pretty much the funniest lunch ever. Seriously, in MJ Diana has found a gem, and in Diana (NOT INDIANA hahaha), *I* have a found a gem! woo hoo. Whitey's is awesome. Even if Tom was sad that he couldn't come along.

Then again, I got back to the office only to find everyone having Lee Ann Chin together and talking about, among other things, the top 1% of attractive people, beastiality, and the fact that they're all old because they dont' know what Dawson's Creek is. Hahahahaha. Shortly after this, my boss came over and asked if I wanted a beer. Seriously? It was 1 or so in the afternoon. I said sure and he brought it over, opened and everything. I then spent the afternoon drinking beer and eating chocolate while working on Carrie's salestools stuff. Ahh bliss.

Michael, where TF is the EOTY update on ilovemikenow?? TSK TSK... Just kidding, no pressure. I know Kaitlin is off to Sweden soon.

Speaking of 'off to' places. A week from today Jenny and I will be in Paris. "Are you KIDDING me?!", as Ian would say. No, I'd tell you. I'm not. We leave in less than a week. I finally bought our easyJet tix though, from Paris to Geneva, then from Basel back to Paris. I seriously can't believe it. I am just so excited, it will definitely be an adventure. We don't have hostel reservations or anything (Jenny don't shoot me please!), but I think that might be fun. We'll see though. As long as we're together, everything should be okay! We meet up in Detroit on Friday, so all should be well. Then we're off. Diana is loaning me her power transformer magic thing too, so thankfully my Mini can come with and entertain me. Thank Pod (literally! ha).

So, I just got off the phone with D, and I told her I was going to make a list on my personal site for my personal reference as to things I have TO DO and things I have TO GET and things I have TO BUY. In no particular order...

THINGS TO DO:

  • Make copies of passport, tickets, credit card, and debit card
  • Give a copy to Jeff and another to Diana
  • Stop my mail for the 13-23 (stupid site is down right now)
  • Get passport out of freezer
  • Mail $25 to Rachel (unrelated)
  • Pay any outstanding bills (Visa, Verizon)
  • Get copies of Rx's from Jane on Monday (why? I don't know)
  • Call Capitol to inform them of my out-of-country biz
  • Make sure everything is taken care of at work (well, we'll see about that one)

THINGS TO GET:

  • Mittens, warm ones. Don't want to use Kirsten ones and I'm not sure Bitty Bear things will go over so well in Europe (ha!).
  • SNACKS, like granola bars, trail mix, and apples (for the plane)
  • A baby wallet? (maybe)

THINGS TO PACK:

  • Knit bag from Mom (only purse I have w/ a zipper)
  • BOOKS! Language, trip, and info ones
  • Glasses
  • extra contacts
  • Unmentionables (heh heh heh)
  • As few clothes as possible
  • Extra pair of shoes
  • hat(s) so I look cute (ha!)
  • credit card, debit card, passport, Euros from Marsha, and anything else like that
  • TOWEL (don't forget this)
  • Rxs
  • Copies of all my shit
  • Sunglasses???
  • Camera, maybe some batt's
  • EasyJet conf. #'s

I think that's about it.
