Moving On, Moving Up

time 12:28 pm feeling okay, not oaky wearing pretty shirt from Jeff music RP reading Bean Trees, again ready for weekend! next hot chocolate

Now all the stress, angst, and curiosity no longer needs to be concealed. I've accepted an offer with another company and will start there on Monday, November 6th. My last day at Olive will be on November 1st.

I couldn't—wouldn't—have chosen a better place to spend my first two years as a 'real' (read: non-intern) graphic designer. Honestly, even with all of the ridiculousness that went on near the end, I learned more than I had at all anticipated—professional/skill and life lessons as well. There are some really, really great people here that I will miss very, very much. It's hard, and sad. But it's time. Gotta keep moving.

And I'm excited about the new place! Nervous but psyched. We'll see how I come out from all this, but hopefully, more ready to take on the world. BYTCHEZ!

.....

In other news, Worlds is going on and China WON!!! I have never been the diehard China fan that many of my board compatriots are, but to see how excited they were and how beautifully they perform made me SOOOOOOOO happy for them. YES! GO CHINA GO. I was sad for the U.S., but, well, that's why it's called PRESSURE. (Not to mention injuries...hmmm....well everyone knows what to think about that!)

I feel awful for Chells, but proud of her for taking care with her health and giving her teammates their chances. I really really hope she is able to heal up. She looks so much more fit and polished than Nats, which is incredible, and gives me hope for her future. Yeah!

.....

I have baby photos to post, a birthday to write about, etc etc etc but that's all we get for now. Onward and upward!
