Life Is One Big Frickin' Mystery
time 9:55 am feeling annoyed wearing GLASSES, believe it or not! next back to work (I know I'm bad...)
'K, I'm really annoyed right now.
First: proof that I am a little bit not stupid.
I'm not really a Flash programmer, if you look at what most Flash people can do, but I know some shiz, yo (sorry, ghettoNESS abounds lately). So I thought that was really interesting. This along with the Conceptual Age. But more on that later.
Second: Happy anniversary to Stephie and Mike! I hope they got my card.
Third: BIG THANKS to Mike and Kaitlin for stopping over last night, and BIG EXCITEMENT for Jenny staying with me and having her interview in Eagan today. I hope she likes it!
On to the annoyance. This is going to sound mean, but putting this here hopefully preps yall that still read here (if you do, want to drop me an email at lxforeverNOSPAM@yahoo.com [remove NOSPAM duh]? just curious) for the moment when my other, undisclosed location merges with this (if ever). It's brutally honest, to be honest, so you better watch it. As I said, you've been warned.
But I am annoyed. Someone I know has gotten a job, which is great. I am happy for them. But it just proves to me yet again that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason as to who gets what or what happens to whom (is that correct usage?) post-college. Like, you can be an ass or a clown or not super talented, and you might be the first to get a job. Or you can be really good and bust your ass and you might not. Not attributing these to anyone in particular, but come on. Success post-college seems to be a huge mystery. Like, why TF did I get my job? Well for the same reason I got good grades I guess, my personality and the cuteness factor (seriously, I'm not trying to be stuck up! this is what I honestly believe), NOT my work! I slid around, did what I had to do. And here I am (updating at work, too, which is bad enough...anyway).
I guess I'm just annoyed about it. It doesn't really affect me but you know how I am. So damn righteous, or something.
That's enough. You get it.
