Just Give Me A Minute, Uncle Sam
time 10:48 pm feeling hot! augh
wearing red pj pants, MN Gymnastics shirt from K-10 reading
The Fountainhead, per Susan ready for cheesecake next cake time

Yes, I thought I would put that image up to reassure those of you that read here that indeed I do live and work in Minneapolis. Well, no, not quite. I live in St. Paul, and work nowhere, as of right now, but you get the gist. My parents, they are having a harder time adjusting to this fact. But see! See the Mpls skyline behind me?? Does this help you at all??
Haha just kidding. But I AM indeed unemployed, which is less than cool, and DEFINITELY gives me panic attacks/moments of suspense a la Susan, which is NOT cool. Ugh. Yet the time off is definitely alright...if I were to win the lottery! Yeah, right.
So, okay. First Things First (haha bet you like that one SR Seminar '04). I am now at the prime age of 23. No, not prime as in prime for picking, but rather prime as 23 is a PRIME NUMBER. YES. I knew you would like that one (I do, obviously). Some say I am a nerd; some may say I am crazy. But I KNOW that I am 23, and this is indeed a good thing.
Some things about my birthday. I think I already touched on my party with my friends. I also went to Madison and Jeffrey Jason Akervik was kind enough to accompany me. This was a very nice weekend, my mom made dinner for me TWICE and my parents took all three of us kids (Jenny's Valentine is in SF being a Stanford grad student, way to go Matt) to Paisan's. It was very nice. AND we went to Tutto, and the ice cream place, and the farmer's market. OK this is all about food, but I do LOVE food, so be it. And then on Saturday my grandparents came to visit too, and I saw Stephie! Though not in the best of circumstances I still saw her, and Tanya, and Mike, and I met Bobby! This was exciting. Stephie is pretty as ever, I just hope all is well for them all. Yes. AND I got a cooler!! Oh yeah!!! And other things but I was very happy about the cooler. We used it yesterday on our picnic. Cooler!!
So anyway. It is always nice to be in Madison with Jeff, and then we returned to the Cities Sunday to celebrate his grandma's birthday. Man, she cracks me up. That was a very nice way to celebrate, was to hang out with his family. I met his aunt too whom I hadn't met previously, and his Dad's fiancee went on to cook another fabulous meal. (See. More food. What is my problem?!)
Monday was my BIRTHDAY! so Grant and Randy took me out to Tunnel's favorite place ever, Chipotle ("to celebrate our meeting" - no not quite) to celebrate. Oh yeah. We heart Chipotle. I can work with all guys, as long as I make sure not to develop an APPETITE like that of a man. That could be bad. We were busy too so that was good. Then in the evening Jeffrey Jason told me to be all dressed up and he came and picked me up to take me on a Mystery Date. It turned out to be a very ROMANTIC dinner (and delicious I might add) at the Nicollet Island Inn, which was very nice and pretty with candles and on the water and all, it was a perfectly lovely way to spend my birthday. Wow. Then for a walk across the bridge to see the waterfall, that is what the picture above is from. Ohh how sweet, so needless to say my birthday was capped off wonderfully. I am a very lucky girl!!
Enough with the birthday, I know you all love it. So yeah, being unemployed man, oh yeah. I had a meeting today with Catalyst, I want to work there, too! But really I want to do cool Flash stuff and I don't care WHO it is for or how cool the office is. That's the thing I think. Well, really what I think I want is a job, but that's beside the point. UGH. So yeah, but anyway guess what else I've been up to! I made a CHEESECAKE, yeah, that's right, a caramel apple cheesecake. Can you believe it?! I also made a pizza today, I made the crust myself, and I am watching Fear and Loathing per Michael. I have to watch the rest tomorrow, I think I am too freaked out to watch it myself now. It was nice to hang with Mike on Tues. See, being unemployed has its perks.
OK bedtime. Have a lovely Friday! SHARK TALE!
