Ghetto Superstar
time 11:36 pm feeling sweet wearing pjs music early Christmas! reading Pigs in Heaven, again...need more books ready for ice cream! next hot ???
ALL RIGHT! I was a total superstar last week at my first week of the new job. I KICK SO MUCH ASS. So, in my wine-induced state, let me say this: to my high school peers who thought my entrance into the world of graphic design was such 'a waste', to you I have to say: SUCK IT!!! Hahahahaha OK I am such an asshole time to stop.
Seriously though I totally kicked ass last week and it feels really good to be somewhere new. Probably next week I'll be all freaking out and say "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!" but right now, the new job is a total bonus. I am proud, even if once AGAIN I am the only girl designer/developer. WTF man?!
I can't write too much more about my job though because I'm trying to be more internet-responsible, but needless to say I am happy. Woo hoo!
.....
OK, what ELSE is new? I saw Anna...again...it was awesome! I have a ton of photos but chances are if you know me you've already seen them and seen what a cutie/intense little Ogborne-Mason hybrid she can be. I was soooooo happy to be out there again and and it was so nice of them to have me. I loved it! Anna changed so much in just four weeks, I am looking forward to what she's like in the next time (Christmas/baptism). It was so nice to have Stephie and Mike to myself as well, even if we'll never agree on politics, ha!
Speaking of politics, how happy was I on Tues/Weds?? What an election! I am even okay with the governor's race, here. I was SO EXCITED for Klobuchar, seriously, she is the savior of this state. The only thing I was UNhappy about was, obviously, the WI referendums. Needless to say, very happy we did not have that situation here. UGH! The only thing, though that would have also helped would have been if EVERYONE (AHEM JENNY JANE AHEM) had voted! WTF?!?!?!
My birthday, BTW, which was super long ago and now it's almost Jeff's, ha!, was awesome. The Shaman gave me fruit, Kari gave me a Coke in a BOTTLE, I love her, and family and friends from all ages and stages contacted me. I am very appreciative. Jeff took me to a VERY nice, very fancy dinner and then gave me this awesome vintage-y poster for my apt. It looks AWESOME and if I could find narrow plastic colored frames it would be done. (Oh and a new potholder.) AWESOME! It was a great time. My parents came up the weekend before and that was a great time as well. Whoa so that was a long time ago but whatever.
We are decorating Jeff's apt and I am drinking something DISGUSTING. Alas, I do what I can. His apt looks super cute and next weekend we'll do mine. Christmastime is never too soon for us, apparently. Whatever makes you smile, right??
Um, that's about it, for now. Hope you all are well and I am planning many a good thing for TG in the upcoming week(s)...if you're going to be in town and want to see me, email me! I want to see you, too!
