Baby, Talk Is Cheap
time 12:10 am (so, fine, it's Friday then) feeling tired! next sleep awaits me

So, Michael told me he took lxforever off his favorites due to my lack of updates. This upset me terribly, for all I had been waiting for was the insistence from some lonely (only) fan that I ought indeed update somehow. And lo and behold, thank God for Diana, here I am.

I desperately need to be in bed, too, but I just can't help but update. It's been a very funny week, and I unfortunately (or however you might see it, that is) cannot share everything due to sheer volume. Let's get the highlights out of the way:
-nut factory with man who was NUTS!! ("Now, don't be scared, but Russia is going to attack Israel.")
-Carol and her "task" assignment in type
-calling something a DAGGER in GD4 (oh god)
-my Dad got a cell phone
-Alyssa and I singing the "QUIT!" song today while doing h-work
-Anna attacking my leg looking for "reflexes"

See? I could go on and on. Whoa. I can see now that orange on gray isn't going to work. Speaking of which, bear with me here. I am just trying to figure out a new layout, this in the meantime is your interim hit. Yeah. The photo is of me and Jenny, she's got her eyes closed. I hope she doesn't mind it! I have no idea when or if I'll ever finish another version of the site, however what you see is what you get right now. Thanks for your patience.

Tonight I got to go to my cousin Christie's for dinner. She made us waffles and I got to see Lizard and Drums, Lizard whom I had not seen in ages. Yeah. We were in our usual fashion of course, making Christie suspicious and all that. ("I was in the bathroom!" -Mike) But what else is new. Anyway this was definitely a highlight to my day. Cousins are always amusing, and frightening in that we all act either alike or like our dads or Grandpa. Eerie.

Other good things, well what. Okay, I had a gymnastics meet, it was our first meet we hosted at the Sports Pavillion, YEAH! It was pretty cool although only Kansas really came. Dammit. BUT Jenny did come and did well! So I was very happy for that. I got a 33.3, 3rd on beam and AA, and 2nd on bars, I am not trying to brag because we all know the competition wasn't so tough (OK...two teams? yeah) but note that I placed on THREE events and THIRD AA and got a *33.3*!!! DANG. That was what I was most proud of. BARS: I hit my feet on the overunder = not proud. I almost connected the toe shoot = proud. BEAM: I fell on a BHS = not proud. I got an 8.5 with the fall and felt pretty solid for the rest of it = proud. I made my last pass without question = proud. I faked my middle pass by doing a lame HS straddle = not proud. BUT I did my new routine and 'twas well received. Moreover, many people came, we had many fans, and they were great! AND our team did well and acted like a TEAM (mostly). so this was a huge development. Also nothing else went wrong.

That weekend also Jenny visited, which was of course great. Shit. It is so late. I need to go to bed. I hope this will suffice, I understand all I've done is rambling. Please, just deal. Come back, I will update again, for now, sleep calls. Buona sera!
