Juicy Booty Lives!!

I am happy to report that love and happiness and beauty abound indeed, and they abound nowhere else but St. Louis!!! Yes folks, I was lucky enough to be privvy to an amazing trip to that ol' hole in the middle of MO, St. Louis of sunshine and, well, southern-NESS. Steak-n-shakes, Dillards, Walmart, oh my! Thankfully though it's still a bit blue, and therein lies the beauty.
BUT NOT REALLY. Because the REAL beauty and joy and happiness lies in none other than MS. KATHERINE STERLING FEDERHART!!! Indeed, it was her (plus one Rob Yang, her fiancee—there, you JMM chumps, if you didn't know it before you know now—Katy of the Juicy Booty fame is engaged. Indeed, rumors fly, just ask Katy herself, LOL, sorry Katers) that I set out to visit, see, enjoy (heh heh heh) what have you, as it had been FAR too long since our paths had coincided; my Thanksgiving in SFO last year and her Christmas in AZ did us little good in that department, anyway. But there I went, our separation ended, and it was a very happy time indeed!
Oh yeah. I am also hoping to have pics, as well as wedding pics and maybe even photos (!!!) soon. AND my new site. Now that wedding/STL is done, I am a bit more free and clear. Then again, before long, the Christmas season begins, and so it is . . .
Anyway, back on track.
SO the weekend was awesome. I left Friday night, for some reason I was really really scared to get on the plane, I felt very strange for some odd reason. I have no idea. Anyway it was totallllllly fine and I was worrying for no reason at all, so yeah. Got in and saw KATY!!! and met ROB!!! And I was very, very, very excited. STL was pretty cool, actually. I know there's crime and dirtiness etc etc but I really really liked it, and Katy and Rob's townhome is AWESOME. They live in the cutest place, right across from Budweiser's horse park, it is just delightful!! They have so much space and their home is just beautiful. Needless to say I am at once jealous and proud of my Katers ;).
Her ring is gorgeous, just what I would want, supremely simple and darlingly small, absolutely perfect. I can't believe she's engaged, wooo hoo hoo!! It was so much fun to be around her and Rob together, and it really restored my faith in some things. More on that later, elsewhere, perhaps. But really, it was one of the best parts of the trip, to see one of my friends so close to and happy with someone, someone she's going to be with for life. It was wonderful.
They are both in grad school at WUSTL, it is soooooo cute because their offices/labs are across the street from one another and they pack a lunch together and eat together every day. CUTE! They work so hard but they love what they do. AND they have their own house which is amazing to me. CUTENESS I can't get over it.
(And now Katy, your life is public. Want me to take this down??? LOL sorry about that. Tell me for real if you do, though.)
Rob is awesome, just an all around friendly, funny guy, he's got a real catch in Katy so I'm glad she's found one, too. He loves hockey and all things sports, it's funny because he's such a scientist too. Ha. Katy has to dress him though because she wants him to match! Just kidding, but she does help in that, ah, department.
I want to write more about what we did but I think I'll finish up tomorrow, right now I want to go home and swim. (BRB tmw.)
