"It's that time of year / when the world falls in love / every song you hear / seems to say / 'merry Christmas, may your New Year dreams come true' / and this song of mine / in three-quarter time / wishes you and yours / the same thing, too..."

"Lexi, we're you're friends. You can trust us. We believe in what you do, and we love you for who you are. You just have to trust us," Susan implores me. "The important thing is - it's about taking risks," Peter replies. "If you don't take risks, where are you going to end up?"
Today and tonight was a lot of things for me. Today was, duh, the end of my semester! So sad to see it go. I will miss Carol and Kindergarten and Jasper and First Grade with all of my heart. Alas. I was ready for a break however, as I'm sure you could tell. At our party tonight everyone was so out of it. We're all so dead. Talk about seniordom. We can't even think straight.
We all make decisions in our life. "Now's the time to be making those mistakes," Susan told me. "And then maybe you'll find out it wasn't such a mistake at all." It is so hard sometimes to put these things into words, and I shouldn't even try. But every day, the things I find out about my friends make me so lucky, so happy and confident and more amazed than I ever thought I could be. So this song of mine, in three quarter time, wishes you and yours the same thing, too. Now get some rest.
