Back to Life–Back to Reality

time 3:42 pm feeling incredibly wired and dazed from getting up at 4:30 to drive back to this place! reading Valencia books wearing LEIs, Jenny's red shirt (she said I could) music Chicago soundtrack ready for bed next not gonna think about it

MAN. I am exhausted. I had a great, great, great break, took many wonderful pictures, and yet the death of school is upon me like the grim reaper and I have nowhere where to escape. Not gonna think about it ;).

Anyway, despite the little update I did do over break, I've been MIA and will be for awhile. Truckloads of H-work were just assigned and we're going to Notre Dame this weekend and Texas in two and I'll be lucky to get done with all this.

Whoa. I just typed that I'll be lucky to get out of this alive. Talk about putting things in perspective. It's so easy to get caught up in the stupid busy-ness of my life and forget about what's real and what's really going on. Let me reiterate–I support our troops, I support my country. But in this way I support them by desiring them to be HOME, be out of this godforsaken war, and for our president to resolve this by using greater diplomacy skills than he appears to have. But the Thought Police silence me. But at least one moment to think about it.

Anyway. Chances are, if you know me, I've already told you about my trip so I'll spare you most of it. Basically it was a glorious week in the beautiful sun in a strange new land with wonderful people and great times. It was so much fun to be with Matt and his family and so nice to be somewhere warm and go swimming and relax! It was truly paradise. Obviously my idea of paradise has Matt in it, and this is what truly made the week great, is that we got to spend our entire spring breaks together. Ahh, bliss. Now only seven weeks til we're together all summer.....

But right now, the realities of school. AUGH. Well once again not gonna think about it. If you would like to see pictures of my trip or hear more there might be more later. Or email me. Because you never know when I might update again :) - that's what has gotten me off track.

OK. "GOTTA GO!" Have a nice spring!!! YAY!!!
