So, that is a bit of a morbid quote, and my last update was also of a faraway topic, yet the first thing I heard on the radio this morning was that today was the 9th year anniversary of the Oklahoma Citiy bombing. NINE years, huh? So long ago. I was in, what, 7th grade? Yeah. It seems so far away...but even at 13, what happened there sticks with me. It may have been the first time I paid any attention to the news, besides Hurricane Hugo and its twin earthquake of '89/'90, or perhaps it was just that big of an event. But I remember it clearly, and all that happened, and the pictures. And I didn't know anyone. Nine years later.
Class time. But I thought I'd better speak on that, since I noticed it. Wishes to them all.
