everything you never wanted to know. about me.

“ Truth, we don't wanna hear/ it's too much to take / Don't like to feel out of control / So we make our plans / ten times a day / and when they don't go / our way we // breakdown / Yeah we breakdown / Well don't you breakdown / Listen to me / Because // It's just a ride, it's just a ride / no need to run, no need to hide / It'll take you round and round / Sometimes you're up / sometimes you're down / It's just a ride, it's just a ride / don't be scared / don't hide your eyes / It may feel so real inside / but don't forget it's just a ride”

Jem, from Diana's Grey's CD...LOVE IT!

“Anything to get out of this 'tard. That means leotard. Without the 'leo'. In case you were wondering.”

It's Just a Ride

time 10:17 A m feeling Calm wearing Sweatshirt from mom music RP reading Prey? ready for lunch w/ dwMJ next flash?

So, time for an update. Since there seems to be little to nothing going on this morning, even though Tom, Peter, AND Rob are gone (hahaha I am in charge now! Just kidding), I figured I would grace you all with my presence. Indeed.

Easter was great, great fun. Ian is the best. We played dinosaurs for awhile and they would have big fights and try to eat each other. Then they would all make up and 'get along'. This consisted of birthday cakes made of meat/plant/plant-and-water, singing happy birthday to each dinosaur, and lots of birthday wishes coming true (all wishes were 'that we could all just get along!' You can tell Jane is In Charge with this one already, hahaha).

I had a busy, cool week. Monday was tutoring as always, at which I spent basically THREE STRAIGHT HOURS reading Harry Potter aloud to these girls and helping them answer the questions. One of them was totally getting it, and I loved her for that. The others tried their best, and I loved THEM for THAT. It is hard enough GOING to school in a language other than your own; try reading a huge book with a bazillion questions after each chapter. These girls rock.

Tuesday I went to my cousin Matt's confirmation. I got there right when it started so for the first half of the service I sat by myself on the side. I eventually found Christie and Mike and everyone else, and ran over there during peace, but it was really nice overall. Somehow, even though lately I'm pretty anti-religion, or at least any organized, anti-gay format of religion such as the Catholic church (note, I am not a Satanist), being IN church is really peaceful for me. I think that's a good thing. And of course the Cathedral was lovely and Matt looked every bit of the handsome young superstar he is. It was good to see Christie and Mike and family as well, as always.

Wednesday I had the end-of-mentoring-program dinner thing which was pretty good. Actually it was really good, I thought the speaker would be totally boring but he turned out to be extremely entertaining and even somewhat inspirational. And Bob Bruininks talked too which I thought was neat.

Yesterday I met with this girl that is friends with my cousin Mike, Meenal, for an informational interview. Her stuff is AMAZING. I wish she had a website I could point you to. I was like, Meenal, you'll be FINE. JUST FINE. However I also explained that even with an extraordinary amount of talent it is still tough going. Not that I know from experience or anything, ha, I am just decent enough at programming to get by you see. So that was neat.

Today I have lunch w/ DW/MJ which will be very fun and this weekend I absolutely MUST clean the death trap that my apt has become...it's almost like living in Jenny's room circa 1998 or something. TOTALLY trashed, whew. Also watch some movies, also we have to go for a run since I have been tricked into doing crazylegs w/ JJ & JJ next Saturday...oh help.

Speaking of which, my knee hurts like a bitch today. WTF?!?! Seriously, what am I supposed to do about that?? I wrapped it and it feels much, much better...but still. We can't be having that.

I realize it's been OVER SIX YEARS since that fateful meet, but I just feel like this knee should be done being a naughty knee is all. I mean, I'm RRRETYRED you know? WTF.

Anyway. I had some long update about natural born gifts and how very lucky I am and how people might think I'm wasting it but I'm spent.
