Jenny Henny and Things I Hate (Unrelated)
time 5:01 pm feeling tranquil wearing white sweatshirt I got for $8 music RP reading strib ready for ? next lightbox
Okay. I did something stupid but I'm not going to tell you what it is. It's too late now but WCYD right? I'm a firm believer in the INTERNET at large and that's not going to change.
Moving on. Jenny, as the Birthday Girl today (23! Wish her a good one!), demanded that I update for her, since apparently lxforever is not blocked in her Oil Land. This is probably a good thing, because it means I'm not TOO offensive. I'll live.
In the spirit of her demanding-NESS (just kidding JJ), J even gave me a pre-made update for my convenience. So! Without further ado, I present to you Jenny's "written-by-Lexi" GUEST UPDATE:
Jenny (pretending to be me) writes:
Ok here is your update:
"Today is my sister Jenny's birthday. She is 23 and says she has never been this excited to be 23. She has also managed (like most of our family birthdays) to spraed the festivities over 2 weeks, starting with a family celebration over easter and ending with a friends celebration this weekend, with the real authentic bday right in the middle... She made the famous birthday bundt cake and found it was actually pretty easy to make, considering how awesome it is. One thing though, that instant pudding in the cake batter really makes it difficult to mix it up. She says there are now gobs of pudding-like cake batter all around her kitchen. I gave her awesome SATC DVD's which she's been watching obsessively since I gave them to her, as well as some pearl like beads since she said she wanted pearls for her bday. Good thing too, because in her middle-of-the two weeks bday celebration (aka just going out but drinking a little more than normal and dancing like mad!) she happened to LOSE the awesome pink bracelet I got her from the Bibelot shop. Last time I give that ungrateful brat anything! Ha ha no I'm just kidding I think she's awesome. She even felt bad enough to call me at 3 am on Sunady morning to tell me she lost the bracelet and that I had to give her a new one. Hello!! I did not lsoe the bracelet!"
later...
And add this to the update too:
“And she has had the song I’m in love with a stripper dee dooo doo dee dooo doo dee dooo doo stuck in her head all freakin day long”
HAHAHAHAHAHHHA I seriously wish she kept a blog or an LJ or something because she just cracks me up every single time. I also would like to know, have you ever even THOUGHT about being 23 before now, JJ? And since when do you read lxforever? DUH. Still she is hilarious. Unfortunately I believe those bracelets are now out of style. So, uh oh. I'll do my best.
And with that, happy birthday Jenny!!
.....
OK. Other things.
INCONSEQUENTIAL THINGS THAT LEXI GREATLY DISLIKES (BECAUSE HATE IS TOO STRONG A WORD):
- Business. Business IS DUMB! With the exception of the few extraordinarily talented people I know personally who are brilliant and useful in many, many ways, business is a waste of time and resources. However it's what keeps the world going, or, rather, the U.S. ECONOMY going, ha, so it is indeed a Necessary Evil.
Still. Business Is Dumb. - People who steal and use EXACT PASSAGES in published works and pretend to know nothing about how they did indeed steal. This is extremely obnoxious and dumb. 'Nuff said.
- People who f up their very own payment records so much that they act like *I* didn't pay *them* and make ME, the client, feel like an asshole. Note to self: self, you're a winner for keeping your receipts. Note to business: keep good track. Props to business: thanks for apologizing, bytchez.
- Idiots. Hello??!!
- People who use DOUBLE SPACING after periods. Um, welcome to the Millennium, we don't use two spaces anymore! DUH.
- People who want me to do free work. Sure, I'll do that right up for ya! It's just like a drive through, requires no time at all! Or resources! Except that drive throughs DO, which is why you PAY people! DUH!
Okay, whew. That's about it. At least *I* feel better.
Happy bday JJ!
