Well It's Good To Know That You'll Be Okay

time too late!feeling tired but EXCITED reading The Dive From Clausen's Pier, an excellent choice if I do say so myself wearing star pjs music 'whatever forever yeah' just kidding, but it's all over the place ready for SEEING MY ALMOST-TWIN!!! next bedtime, wake up, travel forever, SPAIN :)

God damn it. Of course I want to update my frickin' site and it's stupid Sunday night so Tripod doesn't work. If I have time tomorrow perhaps I will be lucky enough to put this one up. Grrr.

BUT what does it matter, at ALL?! Because in just a few, okay, many (I have no concept of time due to the dramatic change in time zones I will soon experience) hours I will be in Spain, reunited with my sister, and all will be right with the world. I CANNOT WAIT. It is finally here. I am going to see Jenny Henny in Spain!!!!!!!!!!

OK so Jenny's already gotten a few incoherent emails from me so I'll try to spare the rest of you here. I just still cannot believe I am going to see her and be in Spain, for real. It is amazing.

I will try to keep this excitement apart from my writing so as to keep this understandable, eh? So I had a nice week of nothing, well, and planting for my grandma which was quite nice among other things, but finally Friday my summer felt like it really began, and I somewhat came out of whatever funk had descended upon me. Friday Matt and the rest of UW was done with finals (and Matt will not like this but I will say it anyway, he got an AB in Physics II, that is damn impressive, he is truly the king of AB's not to mention physics) and bliss returned to everyone here. I am not even going to try and recount the things I have been up to but I'll remember a few highlights. Friday night for one. I experienced firsthand the UW-Madison lifestyle of 'study hard/party harder' this week/weekend, we went out with Bryan, Charu, Sarah, and Al on Friday and it was crazy man. Definitely a good time though, and Matt and Bryan even danced with me. I was so proud (if you have seen me dance you will understand why no one should ever want to subject themselves to this kind of public humiliation. Haha.). So that was wild. And Friday morning I got to see Katy and her school friends, so that was nice. OK what else. I rode my bike downtown, it is so beautiful out here that that was surely a highlight. I helped plant Matt's garden today. It is huge. If you or anyone else you know wants some tomatoes...please call us. OH YEAH today I also saw my lovely sister Stephie and her husband Mike, I was so fortunate to see her, our encounters are ever too rare and thus always a blessing. She looked as good and happy as ever. (And to think that soon enough I will see my other sister!!! The happiness is almost unbearable.) Saturday was movie night with Al's new girl Becka (the 'Beckster' as we now call her unfortunately for her, a good time was had by all (even if we ran into both of Chris's old gf's). And tonight I enjoyed a nice dinner with Matt's family and Chris and Shelley at the Blue Marlin. Oh yeah and Matt duh. And Friday I had another nice dinner with my parents and stupidly forgot to steal the horrible menu I meant to redesign (model student I shall be). Alas. Okay, there are a lot of other things that happened that were quite amusing and fun but all else that comes to mind right now is (a) the lunar eclipse ("TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON!" hah Alyssa) and (b) Michael trying to explain to us that quitting day meant not quitting at all. What? Yeah that's what I thought.

FAR TOO LONG AND BORING. Oh well, I am headed for some great excitement, it is my right to be boring at the moment. I am reading an amazing book that takes place in Madison, this helps as well. OK. Have a wonderful May everyone, here's to a great summer!

---Lexi
