Today has been a very good day. In fact, it's been a very lovely last few days, in reality...or at least from my perspective. Then again, I'm sure you wanted to know. TOO BAD. RAAI (Read All About It) or not...

So, okay. First things first (God, not that AGAIN!!! Gah. Anyway.).

God damn. Naturally, I left this update two hours ago and am now just picking it up again. ANYWAY. So, on to the good stuff...

I got a job!! Yeah!! I am the intern at tunnel for the summer (www.tunnelstudioREMOVETHISPART.com)(just take out the "REMOVETHISPART", you nerd.). I get to work on Flash stuff and do action scripting all summer! This was my ideal position, so I am very, very excited. I get to work in a small (VERY small) studio setting and learn about that, whilst working the flash skillZ. Most excitingly (is that a word?), their main project right now is one for the SMITHSONIAN. Is that right! It is awesome. The design is done, now I am the scripting biotch. That's fine by me for the moment, 'cause we know how I feel about the Smithsonian (or, rather, my fourth grade teacher does). COOL! I work in DT Mpls, right past Sexworld, oh yeah baby. Although, they are moving come July (ooh, the irony! ooh, the similarity!! oh wait, no one else will know what I am talking about...)..., but, 'whatev.' That's pretty frickin' cool.

Ah yes, so this was my lovely exciting day. I went in and chitchatted with them today and it was cool. It is going to be a good time I can tell.

The only bad thing about all this was telling Rising Stars. They were NOT HAPPY. Dang. I feel badly. I will miss those kids. But, I am glad I did work there. Else, how would I have met Ms. Rossi? And the cutie Fireballs. But, yes, I could have done better by them. BUT,,,life goes on. I've realized, while I love gymnastics, I am already pretty good at teaching it (not to be pompous, or something). Perhaps it is time to try my hand at something new. I have a long life, I am not planning on doing the same thing forever (despite the Mason Expectation, that is).

Moving along...THEN in OTHER lovely design news, Jeff (still at Sussner) got his book jacket design picked for this project and so will get to design the entire BOOK which will actually be PUBLISHED and in STORES!! How cool is that?! So, yes, an exciting day from that standpoint indeed.

Um, what else...oh yeah, and now I just had a good dinner and am watching SATC. Kristo is sleeping as her job starts tomorrow. We miss Alyssa terribly but we are getting by.

Alyssa!!! She got MARRIED on Saturday for those of you who didn't know!!! I have pictures below. It was a very moving experience, watching my roommate get married. As one person put it, 'our little Alyssa is all grown up!' She is. I am so happy for her and John. At least they live only a mile away. Long live their happiness (and their weeklong honeymoon!).

And I got to see my cousins on Sunday! We went to Alice's grad party (well, Mike and I did, with Karen), and then hung out at Christie's. Yeah. I love being near my beloved MN cousins.

OK that's about it. Sarah's in SD, Diana's in Prague/London, and I am in pj's in my dirty apartment. Well, the apt is clean. Just my room is a mierda!

I miss Jenny.
