This Perfect Day
time 1:31 pm feeling good! wearing 'big-button' pants, striped shirt reading Black & Blue ready for free time next more work? what is my purpose today?

That's sort of a creepy title to begin the update with, however, it does NOT refer to the creepy, future-telling, metal-bracelet-wearing, paranoid freak book of decades ago. Anyway, I hope you like the new look. I do. Even if it's likely interim (or interminable, take your pick). Just had to get something NEW out there, as well as experiment with DIVS and XHTML. I feel pretty cool. I just wanna be a web geek.

OH WAIT I already am...just not an accomplished one yet. Hah.

ANYWAY, the main, TRUE reason I wanted to update was because I had pretty much a perfect weekend, well, or at least a perfect Saturday. I really can't think of any Saturday in recent memory to top this one. Not all of it is necessary to be published, but here are the facts...

So, the weekend started early when I got sick of having nothing to do at work and took off. Yeehaw! Later that night was the annual Alyssa-Lexi joint bday party, which was very fun, even if no one dressed crazy enough other than Jeff, myself, and my roommates!!! I was disappointed, but that's what you get when you make fancy an option (remember that).

We had a lovely dinner at Olive Garden, where we were led to believe that Alyssa works there (note: she doesn't). However her touting did make for an excellent meal. Then on to Apt 3 and general hangout time. We also watched Roller Boogie which was, of course, HILARIOUS. (**NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET SEEN THIS FILM, BE SURE TO DO SO. SOON.) Brian and Erin and then Sarah and Molly made appearances, which was very nice, and very festive! Even if it meant we stayed up until almost 4 am (can you believe it, well, I WAS young, in one week I will be a very wise, very prime 23. I cannot wait.).

In the morning I helped Sarah and Molly pack up for a bit, then my perfect Saturday began. It consisted of a feast! which I cooked for Jeff and myself, which included chocolate chip pancakes, fruit, and cheesy potatoes; a surprise trip to Jamba, followed by a nice drive through DT St. Paul; followed by an equally surprise trip to the Science Museum to see FORCES OF NATURE, in the IMAX, which was awesome, and which also has me convinced to NEVER EVER LIVE near an active fault line. Goodbye Seattle :( alas.

This was a very nice date for us, especially as it was unplanned, and then followed that by the BEST PIZZA EVER at Cosetta's, to where we had been meaning to go (aka to where Jeff had been meaning to take me, hah). AND the famed Grand Old Creamery to finish it off. OK I know this is all about food but I love food so deal. It was just a great day. We got to do what we wanted, when we wanted, and not worry about a thing! It felt very 20-somethingish and nice.

OK, that's probably enough of Perfect Saturday. I have a shitload of work to do tonight, which I could start now, but that might be suspicious? Then again, what is working on website at work, NOT suspicious? Alas. So, yeah. That's about it. Tonight I hang out with Michael, tomorrow the world! No, just kidding, but I AM going to Madison this weekend to celebrate my bday (one week guys!!). So, that's it.

I'll let you know when/if I get a job. As Michael says, "Jobs are for suckers!" But, so is not having one and eating dust for dinner. But please don't spaz, I WILL get one, just be PATIENT EVERYONE!!!
